3 Reasons Fall is the Best

A true golf lover will love the game in any sort of condition – and we all know that the conditions can vary from extreme heat to bitter coldness, to wind and rain to everything in between. Each season that you golf in has its own perks, but there is something about golfing in the fall weather that many can agree does not compare to the other seasons. Here are some of our favorite aspects about golfing in the fall season:

  • It’s not too hot. As you get deeper into the fall season, you can guarantee that you will not be too hot on the course – you likely will not even break a sweat! The transition between summer to fall means less humidity and crisper air, which is just perfect for a game of golf.
  • You can enjoy scenic views. Who does not love to enjoy some fall seasonal views while playing their favorite game? Many courses offer stunning views of foliage which is a huge perk of golfing through the fall season. It is almost like you are looking at a work of art right in front of your eyes!
  • It is less expensive. At the large majority of courses, golfing in the fall is much less expensive than through the summer months. If there are any courses that you normally do not check out due to their pricing, look at their fall rates and there may be a great deal waiting for you!
  • The course is less crowded. As the weather gets cooler, you can guarantee that the course will become less crowded and there will be much less of a wait for tee times. As long as you are dressed appropriately for the weather and bundled up correctly, this is a huge perk as you can play more so on your own time and not have to worry about those surrounding you.
